Nothing complicated. Just a short list of straightforward, carefully chosen ingredients, including grass-fed beef tallow and calendula. The rich formula melts easily into the skin and a little goes a long way. Use it during nappy changes, after baths or whenever delicate skin needs a little extra care.

Take a small amount of BUM + BODY and warm it between your fingers until it softens. Smooth a thin layer onto the skin wherever it is needed.
Use it during nappy changes, after the bath or whenever little skin could do with some extra care. A little goes a long way, so start with a small amount and add more if you need to.
We keep things simple: all orders are shipped via Royal Mail Tracked 48, so you can keep an eye on your parcel from our hands to yours. We aim to get your order packed and on its way within 1-2 business days.
Once dispatched, your goodies should arrive within 2-3 business days for the UK orders, and 3-5 days for International orders. However, please allow at least 5 business days before reaching out about any delays (because we all know the post can be a little unpredictable sometimes!).

Where can I use BUM + BODY?
Pretty much anywhere little skin needs some extra care. Use it around the nappy area, on cheeks, dry little patches, elbows, knees or after the bath.
For external use only. As with any skincare, avoid the eyes and stop using it if irritation occurs.
How often can I use it?
Honestly, as often as you need to. BUM + BODY is our everyday balm, so you can use a little during nappy changes, after baths or whenever you spot a dry or rough patch.
How much should I use?
Less than you probably think. BUM + BODY is rich and concentrated, so start with a small amount, warm it between your fingers and add more if you need to. A little really does go a long way.
What is the difference between BUM + BODY and ANGRY BITS?
Think of BUM + BODY as the everyday one. It is the pot to keep close for nappy changes, dry patches and general baby skin care.
ANGRY BITS is the SOS one. A more concentrated balm with the addition of Tamanu Nut Oil, for those times when skin looks particularly cross and needs a little extra TLC.
What is the difference between BUM + BODY and COSY CHEEKS?
BUM + BODY is our everyday all-rounder for little bottoms, dry patches and everything in between.
COSY CHEEKS is whipped tallow cream that's easier to spread for all body moisturising. We particularly love it after the bath and on cheeks (especially in winter) and little bodies that need some extra cuddles.
Does BUM + BODY contain essential oils?
Yes. BUM + BODY contains a tiny drop of ylang ylang essential oil to give it its signature, subtle fragrance. However, it is truly just the tiniest drop, firmly below the recommended threshold for baby skincare products. What does it smell like?
To us, it smells like happy baby 🍑. BUM + BODY has a gentle natural scent from the ingredients in the balm. First-time tallow users often wonder whether it has a beefy smell. And our answer is always that it does not. We use the highest quality, cosmetic-grade tallow, which doesn't have that strong beefy smell some more DIY balms can occasionally have.
Is it greasy?
It is a rich balm rather than a water-based cream, so it does feel nourishing when you first apply it. Warm a little between your fingers and use a thin layer. You really do not need much.
How long does a 60g pot last?
That depends on how enthusiastically your family gets through it. If you are using BUM + BODY as an everyday balm, a 60g pot can go a surprisingly long way because you only need a small amount at a time.
Do you ship outside the UK?
Yes, we can send Matylda Baby further afield. Just bear in mind that your country may add customs charges, duties or taxes when your parcel arrives. These are set locally, so unfortunately they can sometimes come as a surprise.
